Damage Transfer water pump

4

Hi I bought a transfer water pump some time ago from Ace, I had not used it since until last week but the pump did not transfer the water. when I looked into the inlet and outlet port, there was something clogging the ports and I could not make out what it was. at first I thought is was some type of foam the MFG had put in there to prevent anything for going in there, but when I tried take it out it was impossible. I decided to open it, and what I found was incredible (please see attached pictures). It looks like when the pump was manufacture the plastic used was melted and cover the ports (In reality there are no ports inside) going to where the impela is at. So come to think of it, this unit was never Inspected nor tested, otherwise in one of those stations the mistake would have been catch. I know you will probably say that the guarantee is over due and I will loose my money and pump (because I can't fix it) but maybe with this E mail you may be able to correct this MFG problem in the assembly line and nobody else will go through this issue. Thank you for taking the time to review the issue. Have a nice day Regards Esteban Rodriguez 132 Brisas del Mar Aguada P.R 00602 NOTE: If you like me to return the pump for inspection, please sent in an RMA # (pre-pay) to the above address User's recommendation: Check and test the product as soon as you receive it. (I made that mistake).
