I recently redeemed my Rewards Points. I had the option of receiving a Gift Card sent to my home or being emailed an electronic gift card that had to be printed out. I chose to have a Gift Card sent to my home. Well, they emailed me an eCard . I called their customer service and a female with a very thick Indian accent and rapidly speaking so as to make the conversation almost unintelligible. I tried to explain that I did not want an eCard that I wanted a Gift Card sent to my home. Her attitude was very cavalier and she basically said "too bad" there's nothing I can do about it. I distinctly remember choosing the option to have a gift card sent to me and asked why did the system default to sending me an eCard. She sarcastically said she didn't know as she was not there. I finally hung up after telling her that her customer service was terrible and thanked her. This instance has just reminded me and reinforced the reason why I use Citibank less.
