Continual lack of good service

Over the last three years, my experience with UPS has been way below subpar. Their estimations of delivery dates and the lack of good tracking is deplorable. Just this week, I was supposed to be receiving a package from Georgia and it hadnt shown any tracking movement for three days. I contacted the shipper who sold the goods to me, and only , ONLY after they got back to me, did UPS give a concrete reason why the package was late! It was due to a train derailment! Now HOW DAMN HARD IS IT FOR UPS TO TELL ME WHAT HAD TRANSPIRED? User's recommendation: Ask the seller of a product to ship by someone else.
