Dyson Media Corp Located at 17835 Ventura Blvd Suite 210 Encino, CA 91316 also going under the name The Best Of for whatever city that they are trying to sell in to the clients is one of the worst advertising company's I have seen over the years. The Best of magazines are located in the free publication racks at Publix Super Markets in Florida and are allowed to be placed there by both Publix Supermarkets and Donnelly Media which control those racks and control what can and cannot be placed in the magazine racks. Both Publix Supermarkets and Donnelly Media should look more closely as to who they allow to use and advertise in their space. I experienced first hand the sales tactics of this company and it is not good for advertising clients. They are a desperate company trying to make a sale and start with one price along with several lies in order to make the sale then drop the price and provide more ad space for less, however the Best Of magazine along with the TV ads and multimedia are the worst of a *** shoot when using advertising dollars. A word to the wise is Do Not Get Involved with Dyson Media Corp located in Encino, California also known to go by the name of The Best Of. Sales people are suppose to be provided with qualified leads so that you do not waste you time and money, Wrong-the worst leads ever. The closing ratio that the manager I worked with stated was bogus and I found it to be far less than I was told by him. I watched the District manager lie over and over again to the clients we called on and when he decided that the client was not going to buy the advertising he would walk out rather abruptly and then talk badly of them in many ways that is not acceptable in this day and age. The district manager also stated that he was going to make sure that we made a few sales and assured me that I would receive a pay check the following week, we did make one sale however I never received a pay check for that deal. He was constantly lying to clients so I anticipated what he said about getting paid was a lie and it was in fact a lie. When I contacted the main office of Dyson Media about the deal I had sold and not having received my commission they informed me that they would not be paying me for that deal due to me not having sold the entire advertising book. That in and of itself reinforced the fact of the many lies that the district managed had previously told me. The district manager had stated he was a retired law enforcement officer by the name of Mr. Polinski and had been in the advertising business for over 25 years but there is not a way of telling if that was even true considering. There is a lot more that I could expand on but the fact is this pure and simple, potential sales people and clients/consumers, Stay Away and Do Not Allow Yourself to be Suckered in by DYSON MEDIA CORP and THE BEST OF because you will regret having wasted your money and time with this company after all is said and done.
