Consolidated Readers Institute – Money Collection Review from Fort Worth, Texas

I remember getting no mags ever and calling to cancel. Almost 10 years later and i get a call from a agency on my cell phone today which ive had for 8 monthes( how they get my number?) Saying they represent their client consolidated readers and iam being sued for$300+ dollars. This is harrassment and stalking for not paying for mags i never recieve. Plus statue of limitations should back me up. The rep told me that consolidate was being nice by not rrporting me to the credit burrue and that they decided to file a claim on me in 2009 just now contacting me on a cell number no one should know about but job applications. Plus they say there sueing my dad for ( cosigning) Iam 32 so now that i think about it this is over 10 years ago. Cause the address they mention on file is my grandmas address p.o.box and shes been dead for almost 15 years now. Why i would use my grandmas pobox to begin with baffles me since ive always lived 30 miles away. Bottom line this is a scam to collect money for nothing. They misrepresent thier offers and 10-15 years later i have almost no idea what there talking about. What contract did i supposedly sign i have no idea.
