A person at 2:06 P.M. on May 6, 2020 a person driving a Stanley Steamer Van driving on Austin Peay Highway, exceeding the speed limit, tailgating,behind me on my way home. Yes, I was speeding to try to stay away from this vehicle. The speed limit on this highway is 45 mph. Due to heavy construction on this roadway. I was going 57 in my car. At one time he slowed down to answer a phone call on the phone which is illegal in Tennessee. Then caught back up with me so close that I couldn't even see his front grill on the van. I am a healthcare worker in a rehab center, and I surely understand the effects of erratic drivers, causing unnecessary injuries to innocence persons driving their cars. I believe the last 3 numbers on the van was 384 or 684 he was going so fast after I turned off the road I couldn't be sure. This person needs to have respect for others who are trying to be a law abiding citizen. He should not be driving this crazy. Besides who needs to have their carpet or floors cleaned this badly. Someone needs to send this person to driving school. Or perhaps he needs to come to a rehab center for patients that have (BIN) and see the results of what happens to patients that have been in car accidents. Thank You!
