Wife went to grocery store chain we trade with all of the time to write a check for a small amount of cash. It was in the city our daughter lives in. She was declined with no reason given. Given a card to contact Certegy, which is almost impossible to do. They want all kinds of information that you should not provide to just any one. They do not check account balances before declining your check. We have an 830 credit score which I'd give odds is better than 90% of the Certegy employees. I contacted the corporate office of the store and told them Certegy was bound to cost them customers rather than safeguard their check cashing procedures. When getting off the phone with Certegy I deffinitely qualified as a pissed customer!!!!!!!
