I have a 2010 RX 350 with approx. 90000 kms and noticed a loud ticking noise when I start in morning...usually goes away in 10 mins of driving. Contacted dealer and he said it was "normal" and all RX 350's made from 2010 -2014 have same noise, which is BS. Friend has 2011 and quite as ever. Ive contacted Lexus Canada and they take the side of the dealer. To me this is not normal as a $45000 vehicle should not make this awful ticking noise. It almost sounds like a diesel engine. This is my 2nd Lexus and this situation is not fixed it'll be my last one. I hope this doesn't affect the engine in the long run. Any suggestions ?
