Titan Van Lines gave me a quote to move my furniture from California to Florida just under $ 3,900.00 and a promised delivery date of July 8th. About 1 week prior to them coming to pack up my home they amended their quote to $ 4,800.00. I accepted that amount because I was out of time. When they showed up to pack up my home they changed their quote to $ 7,600.00!!! That is almost double the initial quote. They already had my $1,200.00 deposit and I had to be out of my storage unit because it had already been re-rented. After talking to their office for 45 minutes they agreed to give a $300.00 discount but they made it clear it was a take it or leave it proposition. They had me over barrel with no options due to time constraints. 2 days prior to our promised delivery date , and no word from them , I called only to find out our furnishing were still in Calif!! Many calls later they told us our things would be loaded and on it's way August 11th. Again we had to call and follow up only to find they now said our things would be loaded the end of August and if that is not satisfactory we have the option of coming and picking up our things ourselves. They already have over $4,000.00 of our money. I should have realized they are liars , cheaters , and thieves when they required all transactions to be in money orders or cash only. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CON ARTISTS!!!
