Checkout times

The last 2 times I went to my local Ingles I was in line for 10 minutes then 5 minutes. Only 2 people in front of me then one, already done. When they get cash back the cashier goes to the front for 5 minutes. Then one guy paid with a $50 for $38. Disappeared for another 5 minutes to get change. $11!? Some of us just want to buy our groceries and go.
