Challenged on refund for obviously wrong parts

Autozone sold me the wrong size brake rotors and then tried to weasel out of giving me a refund. First they said they were too dirty to be resold and therefore no refund. I had grabbed one of the rotors with a dirty work glove to try and install it. The other was as I received it, just opened box. Next, they tried to argue I had the wrong engine size of my car because all the other, much faster and sportier versions called for the correct rotors. I stood my ground until a manager came over to issue a refund to get me out of there. Never again! User's recommendation: Look up parts yourself first to match their numbers. Or shop somewhere else!
