Chainsaw wg303.1 replacement parts not available

WORX still sells this saw. There is a plastic gear that drives the chain. If the chain gets pinched, this gear instantly strips and the saw just spins. The replacement gear used to be $8, but now it is "obsolete" and "no longer available" (part# 5001****). So the whole saw goes into the trash. WTF. Also their toll free number and website chat are a joke. Also the3ir User's recommendation: Do Not Buy.
