I had a booking the 28th of June in Nice (france) I was supposed to flight with my husband and my son but a very close person died and I changed my flight booking to the 30th. My husband and my son took the flight of the 28th and when arriving at the desk of the car rental office he was denied to take the car. He called me and I immediately called Car Trawler to find a solution. they told me that they will analyse the situation and in the meantime my husband has no other choice than rent another car in another office. I also proposed to take the car the 30th and to lose 2 days instead of 10! The day after I received an email to confirm the total refund. Three weeks later I received another email saying that finally I couldn't receive any refund! I payed and lost 800€ for nothing, never seen the car, no alternative proposition.
