We just lost $400 due to a canceled trip in the wake of "death" that came a few days sooner than anticipated. Sun Country has a very rigid policy with no accommodation for exceptional situations like ours. Perhaps, the CEO and COO have the crystal ball for anticipating the future, which we did not. Our loss is Sun Country's gain, either in the form of increased return to the shareholders and/or bonus for corporate executives. User's recommendation: No travel on Sun Country.
