Our closest Taco Casa is in Mansfield TX. My 85 yr old mother who received Taco Casa Gift cards from grandkids at Christmas. We have used gift cards before at the Broad St. Location in the past but was refused today. She was embarrassed and disappointed! The 2 employees emphatically enforced their store owners right to do as he wished. As a consumer.... I believe a fundamental concept of owning a franchise requires a realistic adherance to basic standards when operating a restaurant under a corporate umbrella. I recognize that not all advertised discounts or coupons will be accepted if a franchise does not participate..... But Taco Casa Gift Cards?? This Mansfield Taco Casa and two Arlington locations at Cooper and the other on Collins are operated by the same owner. I feel like removing the great reviews I have given the Mansfield location on Google. Buyer beware..... What say you as a consumer?
