We eat at Shoneys frequently in Albertville Al. Always excellent food and service. While in Ga. we stopped at the Shoneys in Calhoun. First thing we noticed was how dirty the restaurant was. We were seated and the hostess threw the menus on the table did not tell us who the waitress would be or offer a highchair since we had a child. She just walked off without speaking. Where she seated us was not enough space for 4 and a child. We looked on the buffet which was awful, there was no meat available, very few options of anything. We waited way longer than we should have before we left, no one ever came. I was so disappointed because we have always had a good experience at Shoneys. This one should be looked into or shut down. Just the nastyness alone was enough. I really though about calling the health dept. It was that bad. We were under the impression that all Shoneys were as good as all the one in Albertville Al. (Which we will cont. to visit) Maybe someone should send employees there for training God knows employees there need some. This really makes the name of Shoneys look bad. I do home someone from your company looks in to this location.
