Breach of Contract – Sears Home Warranty

Update by user May 05, 2021 They are requiring us to endure another repair appointment before they will consider replacing the appliance. This will be the third repair appointment. Another day waiting at home all day for them to show up. This is completely wrong. Original review updated by user May 05, 2021 I purchased a Sears Home Warranty to provide peace of mind for potential repairs to my appliances. They have failed to fulfill their end of the agreement. We made a service request on January 18th of this year. The appointment was cancelled by them without explanation 3 or 4 times. We have now had a repair person come out twice without any success in repairing this issue. They refuse to replace the appliance. They want to just keep scheduling appointments and making us wait for months to get a resolution. This is completely unacceptable. Their customer service people are horrible. They refuse to replace an appliance that they have not been able to repair for 5 months! User's recommendation: Do not purchase a home warranty from Sears!!!!
