I have applied for a job as a Program Director on European River Cruises. In Amsterdam we were received in a very inhospitable way. Those who were invited for a trial tour (including me) got an almost threatening invitation. I got some lame excuses after a complaint. We were promised to receive detailed information three weeks before the Kick-off Training starts (27th February; this date was changed from 28th to 27th: some people had already booked flights!). That information has still not arrived, so how can we prepare properly? Mails are not answered. It seems parts of the Danube are frozen. We get no information about possible delay. Lenka Sliacka is not avilable until next week; Alena does not answer mails; Katarina does not know answers to our questions. What is going on in Bratislava??? I have invested money on a plane ticket, on stacks of books, I have been preparing for days and days on end, but I am beginning to believe that I am embarking on a very wrong ship... Please help.
