Billing for services not being used after requesting to shut it off

I have repeatedly ask to have service terminated since February the phone has been paid off and I no longer needed service. I am still getting billed for services not being used.the phone is broken and not using it. User's recommendation: Sprint is expensive and more than I wanted to pay.
