I have had income protection insurance for the last 10 years at a cost of $1022 per month. Recently I had to claim on my policy after having emergency surgery to repair serious compression of my spinal cord in my neck. I am now in month 6 after surgery and Zurich have me in the "Ignore him" phase of my claim - which followed the "Fraud Investigation" & "Financial Interrogation" phases that my family endured whilst I attempted a recovery from surgery with no income. My family and I are now is so much financial trouble that today i am forced to start working again - unrecovered and in incredible pain. By having income protection with Zurich I feel so cheated and depressed that I wish I had died on the operating table.
