Hendrix Romero construction has to be one of the worse construction companies that I have scene first hand. Doing your due diligence is not enough with this company. To name just a few of the companies wrong doings, not building to code, procrastinating and turning a relatively straight forward job into the project from ***. From day one the contract is not set up to itemize a project. Instead a general description is used. Perfect for the company to come back later and just ad in expenses. As for workmanship, you would expect a licensed contractor to pass an inspection on different areas. Not with this company, try having the building inspector have to come out for the same problem a number of times. Of course delaying the project even further. Oh, and by the way if you check they are working on a suspended license. You can check this at www.cslb.ca lic. 867548, that means you would not be covered by the state of California's building bond. How about building materials. Any rational person would say that since they are paying for premium materials that you would get them. Try not!! Let's move on to professionalism, three words, DOES NOT EXIST!! The company knows that you have gone through hoops to get the project started and are on a budget so how can you afford to hire another contractor. So to sum it all up, Hendrix Romero Construction is rips people off and has no shame in doing it.
