Batteries are No Good

1

I bought a Motocraft Battery from Canadian tire 6 years ago and it just died. OK thats not the best performance but its not the worst. Anyways I went back to Canadian Tire in Cochrane Alberta and bought the step up size Battery with a 3 year warranty as to the last one I bought that had gone from 2 to 1 year warranty. It was for my 2001 Ford F-150 XLT. I took the first one home and put it in. It sparked then it was dead. I thought faulty, I'll take it back and get another one. I did and this time I asked for the same type I had in the Truck originally. I don't think any of this stuff is motocraft anymore. It didn't work either, so I put the booster cables to it and it fired up fine. Let it run for 20 minutes then took it for a drive. When I got home I shut it off and tried to fire it up again. NOTHING! 2 Batteries, 2 POS. I got a refund and my old battery back and left. I put the old battery on a trickle charger overnight and put it in the next morn. It fired up fine and is running fine now. I don't know what kinda of batteries you're selling now but they will definitely lose you business.
