BANK paid an item even though I do not have over draft prote

Over the weekend Frost paid an item out of my account even though there was not enough to cover it and i do not have over draft protection.when i went to the bank i was told after waiting that it was my fault and they would not be doing anything to make this right...so over draft protection doesnt always work! I am now out $140 bcuz of this!
