Canadian Tire is selling substandard products and taking no ownership. Purchased a new gas weed trimmer. Came DOA so I tried to return it. Silly me, Canadian Tire says it's my responsibility to take it to have it repaired. I was told to call the manufacturer Troy Bilt, I was left on hold for an hour before a rude person told me that my only option was to request an RMA number and take the product in to be repaired. Thanks for nothing Canadian Tire! Walmart would take a product like this back without hesitation. Walmart from now on, lesson learned. User's recommendation: Do not buy large ticket items with Manufacturer only warranties. You will be left holding the bag.
