Freedom Mortgage was already our mortgage company. We tried to refinance with Freedom Mortgage to lower our interest rate and monthly payment. They asked for documents that we then provided. These documents were from the county recorders office and notarized. They informed us that these weren't good enough and continued to ask for the same documents. A supervisor got involved and said the documents were exactly what was needed. We were given a closing date then got another request for the same documents. We have never had so much trouble refinancing our home. User's recommendation: Don't believe what they say and go somewhere else.
