I refinanced my home with caliber in 2016 and all was fine until we were impacted by the hurrricane in September 2017. I honestly feel that we would be better if if the storm had destroyed my home completely, because the tour company would be forced to comply and put forth your due diligence in helping me have my home. The assistance offered by caliber for a forbearance and loan modification is a scam and a nightmare. I’ve been misled, misinformed, drug through the dirt, paid thousands of dollars in order to “ work” with caliber and I cannot receive any updates or cooperation from anyone. My home is now in foreclosure because I was told to apply for a program that had no clear guidelines and now the Manager of Title or underwriting at has neglected to re-open the modification after failing to contact the pool company ; aqua finance to confirm the Jr. UCC statement. Everything I call and ask for an update the response is wait, call back, we don’t know, there’s no notes....etc. How can you treat people this way and refuse to keep up with your end of the deal. I made my 3 payments, completed the trial plan but yet and still I have to wait for the manager to get information when I’ve been waiting since 10/14/2018. I have only 10 more days to respond to the court and all I can say is I’m working with Caliber but Caliber won’t stop the foreclose ? It’s awful that I’ve been thrown in circles and the so called escalation has taken over 2 weeks? Why is there no communication and such a lack of urgency with this company. It’s like no one cares. You lack customer service, and accountability. I’ve never been 30 days past due on any house that I’ve owned until now. Please, someone just put forth the effort and obtain the information needed to stop the foreclosure. They have already confirmed full cooperation..
