AVOID Fort Lauderdale location

My Fort Lauderdale rental experience. Currently, I am disputing the extra insurance charges with my credit card company. The requirement for $300,000 liability coverage is not disclosed in their terms and conditions in the contract. You are aware of it only upon arrival. My basic State Farm provides $100,000. I had prepaid the rental cost, so I felt I had no choice but to purchase additional insurance ($104) or forfeit my prepaid costs. After signing the contract and returning to the rental car and before I even started the car, I realized that I had an umbrella policy that provided $500,000 liability (how could I have forgotten that initially!?). I returned to the service counter and showed them the coverage and was told it was too late --- no refunds. They would let me rent another car on the spot and I could show the insurance then --- how generous to let me rent a second car to avoid paying insurance!
