took car in for service because engine light came on. December 4, 2017. had 1:00 pm appointment, arrived at 12:30, because had just come from doctor which was near by knew I had to wait. abe kolat who served me, came back and said, you want oil change and inspection. " I said didn't you see the engine light on. "Oh I'll go back and check." I knew then he was incompetent. He returned about an hour later stating cannot find out what is wrong with car, but they will keep looking. Approximately couple hours later, "there is a leak and we have to drop the gas tank" (which I did not believe) "You will have to leave the car." I cannot, I need my car, I have no way of getting home. then he said "I don't know if you had an appointment or not." I responded, didn't you look to see that I had an appointment" I brought the car to you because your company makes the car." "Just get me a bill and let me get out of here because apparently you do not know what you are doing." I took the car the next day to my neighborhood mechanic, who said the battery had been disconnected and all the computer data had been wiped out. I would have to drive the car for about 100 miles for the computer to reset. Prior to that, the key chain with my house key as well as car key I gave had been tampered with and I had to take my house key off the chain in order to open my front door. this was deliberate because I have never had this occur before. I have been going to this dealer for several years and never had a problem prior to this. I am a senior widow and depend on reliable service which I have always received, . However, as a result of this frustrating event I will never go to that dealership again. Please address this situation and give me a valid response M.
