I recently switch to AT & T. When I accepted the offer I made it clear that I did not want a contract of any kind and I was ensured that there was no contract. I am trying to cancel the AT&T tv service which still has not happened and I have been charge again for the service which I am no using and I was told I had to pay $440.00 for equipment in order to cancel. Please see below. I signed up for the $139.00 plan which is what I was charged for the first billing period. On the second billing the charge ent up by $20.00 per month. I called the customer care department and was told the charge of $5.00 per month per box for equipment. When I advised I was not told that there was a charge for equipment. I was then told that I could return the equipment to the local AT&T store. I did go to take equipment back after about one and a half months because we decided to cancel completely. I told to contact customer service which I did and I was told I had to pay $440.00 fo the equipment which I could keep. Please correct this and reimburse the $159.00 I have been charged again and tell me where to return the equipment. Thank you.
