Astronomical Hidden Fees & Shady Practices

I signed up for this company after they promised lots of low prices to PHCC association members. Despite my having signed an Agreement that outlines their fees, Fuelman will bilk you if you let them. Watch your statement and be prepared with a calculator and time to wait on hold to complain. For example, if you pay $2.69 at the pump, your statement reflects $3.21. With an average 30 transactions monthly, this quickly bites into profits. A few of my statements would note a 15 - 20 cents per gallon fee - but when each transaction was scrutinized, it was closer to 40 cents per gallon! I understand they're running a business too, but I already pay a monthly card fee (which also increases by $1-$4 each month). The Agreement fine print states they will charge whatever they want to. Fuelman will also send e-mails notifying you're automatically enrolled in costly programs. If you opt out of one program, the tradeoff is a new fee. If you were to receive a rebate, you forego that when you opt out of any unrelated program. Each e-mail comes from a new address, so any attempt to add their address, and not miss these notices, is pointless - and their defense is that the Agreement says they have the right to auto-enroll. After nearly two years of their BS, I'm switching my employees to credit cards that instead give me points and provide predictable fees.
