Apparently Batteries only have a 12,000 mile warranty.
Went to Rick Hendrick as the battery on my 2013 Dodge Dart is dying again. It's a mopar batter that was already replaced once due to defects. Well apparently, if you replace a battery under your car warranty, and they replace it, the warranty on that part only lasts as far as you have a mileage warranty on the car. Went there this past weekend and spoke with some slick talking salesman who advised me that the battery warranty expired after my 36,000 mile warranty. After speaking then with the parts manager he said that it had a warranty on it, based on the part number. And unfortunately he had spoken to the service guys while I was away and when I get back the part manager was not singing the same song as the greasey haired sales person. So remember kids. battery warranties only last as long as your standard warranty lasts.
