American airlines has lost their respectability for how they treat their customers. Today Sunday 18 July my mother had a 5:30 AM flight back to Austin Texas my mother has been in the airport since 4 AM this morning still walking around trying to find a flight trying to find someone to put her in a seat why would my mother be on standby when her ticket was purchased and she had no problem flying to New York but she has a problem returning back home. American Airlines treat their customers like garbage. User's recommendation: Book with another airline who isn’t going to tell your family member when they get to the gate that they cannot board because they don’t have a seat, when her seat should’ve been assigned to her when she checked in.
