5/31/2021 8 pm showing of Quiet Place 2. Went to get a drink to take into our movie tonight. Asked for I.D. it's a policy. I had mine, ordered a cranberry vodka.My husband didn't have his.. he wasn't driving and he's 59. AND looks it. but they were adamant. So we didn't put up a fight. He went to get a soda &popcorn . I went to the bathroom with my drink .Head into bathroom and a woman on her phone bumps into me and I drop my drink. sticky mess everywhere. Told a random staff member & they went to get stuff to clean . I head back to the bar and tell them I drop my drink and proceed to order a beer. The bartender said..we can't serve you because you could give it to your husband. wait.. what? meanwhile.. the movie has started..10 people in line staring at me. I was calm. Went to a "manager" at the desk. He CALLED the bar-said it was fine. I go back and try again. The bartender said he never got the ok. I literally watched the manager do it. SO then i go back and "supervisor " .. now it's almost 830.He lectured me and said if we see your husband drinking this we will ban you from the theater. WHAT? it was laughable. People in line were even confused. I said it's not for him, it's for me. then AGAIN he proceed to threaten to throw us out if they. We work in the entertainment industry and understand policy but they rudeness was out of control.
