AKAI HDTV parts not available

Purchased a AKAI HD TV....power board circuit browns out...take to Authorized service center..spend $70 for repair estimate....to find out the part that is bad is not available. Contacted AKAI USA...not a single response. Think about B4 you buy their products. Found out on a search of the web this problem was inherent in this model...trying to contact the FTC...like it may help?? Any one out there have a like problem please drop me a reply... side note: there is a scam out there for $49.00 one time fee you can get over 3500 satellite channels...not so ...
