I bought the PD 8.5 qt air fryer and have used it often but not daily for almost 3 yrs happily. About a month ago I was cooking some salmon cakes and the fryer just turned off as if it had overheated. It was sitting on my island with plenty of air flow so that wasn't the issue and I had only had it cooking for about 15 min at 375* Thankfully at the time of purchase I also purchased an extended 2 yr warranty which is up in Mar. I called the ins company, butBuy an extended warrantythey are sending me a check for a prorated amount and they said keep the af. I'll keep the check and when Miss Paula finally dies get another AF but not this brand. User's recommendation: Buy an extended warranty.
