After I changed my password my computer was locked not working

When I open my computer, my pin was not working and Microsoft asked me to change my password, I did. After that they asked me all question and I provided after that they offer an email contract for $12.99 per month I said no. Because I don't use yahoo email for business. I back up after that, my laptop locked out. I tried to reopen my laptop since last night 8:00 PM, but it is not opening. Any reason why this ting happened with my computer?
