Accidental turn on of top gas burner controls
3
We have an Amana gas stove model AGR6603SFW2 and the location of our Amana stove is such that when the upper corner cabinet is accessed the top burner control can be accidentally contacted by the body and be partially turned on and allows gas to escape into the house. This happens occasionally and is only noticed with the smell of gas in the room. The problem is due to the ease with which the burner control can be pushed in and turned to ignite the burner. It would be eliminated if the knob was not so easy to push and turn. Perhaps requiring the knob to be pulled out and turned would also eliminate the problem.
