I have never before been treated in the appalling manner that the Wilms brothers and their staff at Summit Property Management company. You cannot get them on the phone at all. They refuse to answer and they don't call back. It took me 12 calls and voice mailed as well as emails to just lease a property, and even then I was told I couldn't see the property and if I wanted to lease it I would have to pay the app fee and a security deposit of a month in advance immediately and then I could see the property in 2 weeks. However, the property was unoccupied and just sat there. I should have know from the deplorable way that acted at the beginning that they would be even worse to their tenants and that has proven correct. They do not fix or repair anything. You call, you email, and you get no response. Their solution to a very apparent water leak was to send someone to paint over it. And that was only after I have emailed multiple times over a three month period. And the appalling service continued. Plus, they do not provide pest control spraying. If you want that, you as the tenant are responsible for it. When you move out you as the tenant are responsible for having the carpets professionally cleaned and are required to provide proof of the service or they will charge you. And the list could go on and on. I would not recommend Summit Property Management Company to anyone - not my worst enemy. I have no idea how they even have a business. Do not lease from them and I would never allow them to manage a property for me either. Beyond terrible.
