953xl yellow

This is supposed to replace the F6U10A in the HP printer HP Office Jet Pro 8710 - whose cartridge states "Replace with 953 or 953XL". I cannot get it to accept your yellow cartridge above. I have downloaded from your website the article 'Incompatible, Not Recognised, and general errors' and have tried the switching off loading switching on procedure several times without getting the printer to accept this cartridge. What do I do now please?
