Hello, I bought my son his first gun, a model 62f savage 22lr. It is a great gun, he enhoys it and so do I. The bolt design is unique and interesting. We have upgraded the stock to one that is more tactical and have added a nice scope. She is dead accurate and we have settled on which ammo is best for this gun. However, i must gripe on this issue and i am sure that savage arms has been made aware of this situation for a long time. Please, for the love of god and country, please offer a higher capacity magazine. A 20, a 30, or anything. I cannot understand the purpose of offering a mag fed rifle without the option of different capacities. This is the only gun on earth that I can think of that is mag fed and only has one option for mags. What is the point? It makes me wish i have done my research more before buying. I can get a marlin tube fed that holds more if i wanted to be stuck with a one sized capacity gun. I am almost to the point of wanting to sell this thing and go ruger. I know you offer newer models with higher capacities, but come on, as long as this gun has been on the market. Something should have been done by now. Im sure people have requested this. Its all over the internet and forums. Or do you simply not care what your customers think? Im baffled. I have purchased 5 more of you 10 round mags which went for a whopping 30 dollars a piece. I could have bought a new gun for the price of 5 of the pot metal junk mags that you only offer. So i must ask. Would you care to purchase these back? Would you care to buy the gun back? I still have the original stock. I feel like my money was wasted in this rifle and i feel like a lesser father for buying my son this gun. Id even trade it in with all mags for cresit towards a mark series. Besides this rant, for what it is worth, I offer you my best regards and wishes. Take care.
