5+ hours on hold for customer service

Due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances I had to extend my stay and I had to change my ticket reservation few times in May - June 2021. The online Change Ticket was not working, I tried for several days. Online change is the easiest way to change reservations, but it doesn't work. Calling customer service at [protected] has waiting times over 2 hours, sometimes 4 - 6 hours. Another choice is Messages app from Delta mobile app. I am right now over 5 hours waiting on Messages app and over 2 hours on the phone. Previous phone call disconnected after 1 hour, altogether 3 hours on hold on the phone so far. Today is June 9, 2021. I tried to contact Delta in every way possible, at no avail. This is not the first time in the past 3 months. I'm staying up all night trying to speak with someone to have my ticket changed. It is excruciating and I have to work in the morning! It is almost 4am and I cannot reach anyone for over 12 hours of trying several ways.
