car rental price, personal insurance verification info and condition of vehicle

First of all I contacted your company yesterday at 2:27 p.m. and spoke to Meghan and she said she worked for reservations. She advised me that she could not help me and asked if she could give me the information of who to contact. Because I was driving I asked if she could email me the information, as of now I am still waiting almost 24 hours later!!! She told me she couldn't tell me when she would be able to email me. This literally takes 1 minute to do and customer service is very important to me as I worked for a very large utility company and know what customer service is all about. This is disgraceful. This rental was my first experience with your company and will probably be my last. So disappointed in the entire experience. My reservation Itinerary #[protected] who was partnered with Economy was a horror show and I will go into more detail when I reach that part of the story. I tried to get a lower rate 5 times and each time it said it went through and then when I looked at the reservation it said cancelled. The difference was approximately a total of $30.00 cheaper. Very frustrating. I called your company and Economy but whoever I spoke to told me it was the other person!! Well left that as is out of frustration and just figured I'd wait until I got to Economy. When I got to Economy to get the vehicle, it took me 1 1/2 to get out of there, not a happy person. I first questioned the price and they said they could not do anything for me. I even showed them the 5 cancellations. As part of their check in as is all, they asked specific questions related to insurance. I have additional insurance with American Express on car rentals. They asked me about my personal car insurance and I told them it was Commerce and they told me I needed a copy of my policy. Who carries a copy of their policy on a vacation? In all the years I have rented a vehicle I have never had to show an actual policy and just needed to furnish the carrier in addition I was just in Florida and rented through Budget on site at the airport. Naturally I had to get the information and have it faxed over which took some time and thank goodness I have a good insurance company. This was the second strike of starting off on the wrong foot. They finally took me out to a vehicle and it was horrible. It was a Nissan Sentra. I always check the vehicle but this car was in poor shape for a fairly new vehicle. It had two dents, chipped paint all over it, and the seal around the rear windows were detached. I have never gotten a vehicle like this. I questioned the seals and they said it would be fine. Not happy but they said there were no other cars they could give me. I made sure it was noted but I did take pictures. I will attach them. I am asking for a full refund and a free rental for a future trip. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I look forward to hearing back from you for your quick response.
