I not a Blue Essence-20 approx 6 months ago. I have found that the salt digital readings are not reliable. Last two times I have had the pool water tested the digital readings and a professional tested reading were greater than 1000! I was advised by the professional to contact Hayward and they would be able to assist in recalibration great the digital display...unfortunately the customer service assistance in New Jersey was far less than acceptable ( of course after several calls and long wait times). Beware...your salt level will be much lower than the Hayward equipment indicates and therefore the chlorine production will not be sufficient...Have the pool water professionally tested!!
