Bait and Switch and dishonesty

1

When I bought my Rogue in 2017 I was talked into buying a rust inhibitor module by the salesman. He said it would negatively charge the vehicle, making it impossible for rust to adhere. I was skeptical, but he convinced me it would be better for the environment (no oil undercoating needed) and the integrity of my vehicle (no need to drill the holes to apply the undercoating) I paid $540 for what I thought was the module. Two years later, with rust appearing I went back to dealership to inquire. They said they needed to inspect module and I have invoice that lists "module inspection" among the items undertaken. Only upon taking my car to the collision centre to get a quote on the cost to repair the rust do I get told I don't actually have such a module. I called dealership immediately and was hung up on. Went to dealership and spoke with service manager and another manager and was told my $540 wasn't for the module, but for an oil undercoating. (Most expensive oil undercoating I've ever heard of) Absolutely no ownership on their part. If they did this to me, who else did they do it to?
