2016 Ford F-150

1

My 2016 Ford F-150 has less than 20k miles on it, which we purchased in 2017. In May 2019 we noticed blue smoke coming out of the exhaust upon start up. We took it to the dealership and they determined the engine heads would need replaced. They had our truck for 4 days only to call me and tell me the parts are backed order until June 6th. We planned a family vacation which we planned to use the truck to drive the 20 hours; however, due to the engine issue we did not trust the truck for that distance. We then received a call that the parts had been pushed to July 17th and now the Ford Customer Care is reporting it is July 31st. Meanwhile, our truck sits in the driveway as we do not want to further damage it. This is ridiculous and Ford should be ashamed of themselves. We have been loyal Ford customers but after this I will be rethinking that loyalty.
