$15 to try on pants

In July (2019) I ordered two shirts and a pair of pants from Nautica.com. They advertised "free shipping." The shirts were fine, a good value, but the pants did not fit as expected. When I went to exchange them (as one would with Zapos or Amazon or most other e-tailers) I had to pay $15 for return shipping. That seems like $15 to try on a pair of pants. Not a good value.
