Unethical treatment of a patient
Good evening! This summer I happened to come to the Stationary LIC. I was seriously ill and spent several weeks in the hospital. I was treated by Dr. Edite Fridrihsone (resident in infectology), whose unethical attitude towards me as a patient was very rude. I am currently studying medicine myself, so I have a hunch about what is allowed and what is not. I had to hear accusations from my doctor that I was not suitable for this profession because I was ill and guilty of it myself (I haven't had a runny nose in the last 4 years, even with a runny nose), with what rights does a resident infectologist assess my psychological condition and, secondly, I do not ask for career counseling at the stage of illness). In addition, this doctor did not teach me to make a correct diagnosis,as a result, I was discharged from the hospital with incorrectly prescribed medications and inexplicably poor blood tests. As a result, the disease progressed. I have been ill since May of this year, because it is possible, now only the right cause of the disease has been found (for which I am also not 100% sure). I am complaining about this to doctors, mainly because of the treatment of me as a patient. It is very obvious that a person does not like his job. I believe that if a doctor does not know how to treat and is an amateur in his field, one should not go to a patient who has at least some understanding in medicine. Recommendation Dr. to continue without comments and foolish "career counseling" for patients. These doctor's tips have not been very helpful to me, but unprofessionalism in making a diagnosis and unethical communication have had consequences. If you don't like working with people so much, there are other areas of medicine that don't require communication with the patient.
