"Day in Europe"
I would like to report an unfair practice by the mobile operator BITE. Being abroad, 29. 02. 2016. (only one day before the start of the service!) I received a text message that with 1. 03. a new "Day in Europe" service is launched, which will cost AU$ 2. 50. The opt-out was not mentioned. 05. 03s I sent a text message and this service was automatically connected, although I didn't want to use it. I called the xMobile customer service phone to find out how to opt out of this service because I do not want to use it. There I gave a lecture on how advantageous this service is and that other customers are extremely satisfied with it, moreover, according to the law on changes in tariffs, they do not have to inform the customer! I argue that this is not a change in tariffs, but a new service... As a result, the service was disabled, but the fee for the imposed service was included in the invoice. I think this is a scam.
