Complaints & Reviews — The Work Number

I have tried for years to deal with this idiot company. They are completely worthless! There is no need to even use there services because none of them work and their employees are just as clueless as the people calling for help. Once you waste your time setting up to register to use it, it will tell... Read more ➤
TheWorkNumber.com website is one of the least intuitive, user friendly websites I have seen so far. If you are an organization seeking to verify information or an individual seeking to verify your own, and you land on this site, it’s like being dropped in the middle of a maze. Good luck finding what you need quickly. I... Read more ➤

I don’t believe this service is beneficial to the companies needing verification or to the employee. It cost the company to verify, therefore the company is not going to verify in most cases and puts us at risk. The employee misses out if the company will not verify because they will skip over that person. This was... Read more ➤

Poor service

I had to ship to Austria. I chose the company FedEx because the shipments were delivered perfectly to Australia, as well as the price was the cheapest. And that was my biggest mistake. I process the shipment in accordance with the company's rules. I follow the shipment and on the third day I find out that the recipient's incorrect information has been provided. Contact the customer center. I find out that the telephone number of the recipient's country had to be indicated, I indicated AuMobile. I contacted the recipient immediately, please ask a friend for an Austrian number where they can be contacted. I named the Austrian number for an FedEx employee, who the next day confirmed that everything was in order, that their partners in New Zealand had confirmed that the number had been received and handed over to the Austrian Post. However, the days went by and no one contacted the recipient. I called every day to ask if anything was missing for a successful delivery. Every time I confirmed that the information passed, please wait. After seven days, I see the status in the Shipment Tracking section - the shipment is being returned. Again, call the customer center, where an employee tells me that she understands me, but nothing can be done because the information has been passed on to Estonian partners, but she does not know why the Austrian Post has not delivered it. When I am outraged and point out that:because the information has been passed on to Estonian partners, but she does not know why the Austrian Post has not provided it. When I am outraged and point out that:because the information has been passed on to Estonian partners, but she does not know why the Austrian Post has not provided it. When I am outraged and point out that: - the consignment is executed in accordance with the FedEx regulations, where in clause 7. 8. it states that the recipient's telephone number should be provided, preferably mobile, but there is no mention that it must be the recipient's country; - I have been interested in my shipment every day and I have not received any calls from FedEx with clarifying questions; - I contacted two more days ago (it was Saturday) to find out where my shipment is. The employee did not know how to say, but when asked if the shipment will not be returned on holidays, confirmed that it definitely did not, and I will be contacted on Monday to tell where the shipment is. As a result of 20. 03. 2017. shipment delivered to FedEx 28. 03. 2017. travels back to Australia and will be sent again to Austria. I am promised that the shipment will be delivered to the recipient in the beginning of April. Within the promised 5-6 working days, the shipment will be delivered within 15 days. To all this, the client center employee answers that I understand me. But on the question of FedEx's responsibility for providing the service, there are reservations that this is the behavior of the cooperation partners. That they can return a shipment for one wrong letter. I don't understand if the company knows what their partners are doing, then why don't they check the addresses, phone no. etc. before sending the shipment from LV? I will definitely not recommend FedEx to my friends and acquaintances. The stingy pays twice!
