Undelivered Item
I sent a personalized product with an omnivore that was intended as an anniversary gift. I put the package in the FedEx parcel on Monday, on Thursday we both started looking for where the shipment left. When calling the omnivore, the operator promised that it would definitely be delivered the next day. The next day was also not delivered. I called again, told me that there is a problem with the delivery of the shipment and the problem is being resolved. After a few hours, I was called from the FedEx and asked to describe what the shipment looked like. I realized that the package is lost. After a while called again, said everything was fine, Saturday morning will definitely be delivered. Saturday came, the customer is waiting for a package - have to go to a party, but the gifts are not, it is not. Around At 14:00, the operator finally admitted that the location of the parcel was unknown, nor was the reason for non-delivery known. We talked if the package is in order to return it to me, because the customer will not need it anymore. The operator apologized on behalf of the company for the situation and suggested writing an application, requesting compensation for the full value of the product. I returned the money to the client in full, wrote an application in which I described the situation, indicated the value of the product at the desired amount of compensation (as a personalized thing, for which I do not currently see any further possibility to be realized). The FedEx package was returned to me next Tuesday. The package is completely undamaged, I don't understand why there were problems with delivery... Today I received a refund from FedExs in the amount of AU$ 2. 88 and a discount code for the next shipment! I think it's a mockery. I wrote a reply letter, please review the decision. I don't expect a positive result anymore...
